Madrid & Andalucia advice?

Post by lark22 »

Hi! We're going to Spain next week (spending a few days in Madrid and then wandering in Andalucia for the rest of the time), and I'm wondering if any of you smart travelers have advice on things to do/see.

It has been a long, long time... but two places that are on my list of places I want to see again before I die are:

The Alhambra in Granada - Beautiful, the entire complex is a work of art.

The Cathedral of Seville - Huge, ornate, and the alter is amazing...

Have a great time.
Leap, and the net will appear.

this si from a recent NYtimes feature--I am not sure if you will be able to open it without being a member (which is free, i think)
so if you can't open it, just open the NYtimes and join up and search madrid
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Just curious. Where in Andalusia are you going to?

As told before - Granada and Seville are both beautiful and interesting cities.
If you go to Alhambra, you will have the best experience, if you have a guide to tell about the place. Enjoy! We really like Spain.
