Sunset View Condo in Cruz Bay

Anybody stayed here? It is rented through Caribbean Villas & Resorts.

It looks like a small, but nice condo. It's in Cruz Bay in the middle of the action according to their web site.

The price is right...only $140 a night in the off season. No pool or hot tub, but a very convenient location for someone who doesn't want to drop $400 on a rental car. For STJ, it just seems a bit too cheap. Am I just being paranoid about the old saying, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is?

Sunset View has had mixed reviews in the past, I think they are trying to fix the problems/neglect. Tripadvisor.com has had a lot of reviews on the property that may offer you the answers you seek.

I may be wrong, the long running debate on tripadvisor is about Sunset Ridge villa's

It's not the same but thank you so much for posting that info. Looks like the name of the complex where Sunset View condo is located is called Sweet Dreams, and it was formerly known as Selenes in case those names ring a bell for anyone. There are only 6 units in the complex.

we met a couple last year who were staying in this condo...they gave us a "tour" ! it's really nice..i was pleasantly surprised !! great layout/comfortable and very nicely furnished !! the couple was very happy with it.. it's not huge but plenty of room with perfect sitting/living area / they loved being right in town !! can't beat the price too !! the bad reviews are about sunset ridge condos, not this one !!
