Help me plan this game....

Post by Nic in KC »

I'm holding a couple's shower this weekend for my brother and his fiance. I plan on doing a version of the Newlywed Game, so...give me the best question you can think of!

Also-if you've been to a couple's shower and played any, mostly clean (my grandparents will be in attendance)games, I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks for your help!

Here are some that made the rounds on FB as "how well do you know your husband?" Could easily go both ways...I think 15 and 19 could lead to particularly interesting results ;-)

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?
2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad?
3. What's one food he doesn't like?
4. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order?
5. Where did he go to high school?
6. What size shoe does he wear?
7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?
8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
9. What would this person eat every day if he could?
10. What is his favorite cereal?
11. What would he never wear?
12. What is his favorite sports team?
13. Who did he vote for?
14. Who is his best friend?
15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do?
16. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake?
17. Did he play sports in high school?
18. What could he spend hours doing?
19. What is one unique talent he has?

1. Where was your first kiss?
2. What was he/she wearing when you first met?
3. What is her/his mother's middle name?
4. Where did you meet his/her parents for the fist time?
5. He/she likes to sleep on his/her side, back, stomach or he/she rolls around so much it's hard to keep track.
6. When it comes to taking a vacation which best describes what he/she likes: the beach, hiking and camping, a road trip through the country, a big city trip with museums and galleries or, he/she hates vacations.

I could go on and on. These are fun to make up. I used to love that show. So corny.

For my sister's shower a few years ago I asked her questions that I had previously asked her fiance. They were questions about his likes and preferences. I made her put a piece of bubble gum (the big kind) in her mouth for every question she got wrong. It was very funny because her mouth was so full by the end and she could barely talk or keep from spitting all over herself

It would be interesting to have them compete to see who'd have the least gum in his or her mouth by the end.

Those are perfect, thanks ladies! I bet adding the gum to it does make it even funnier!

I knew I'd get some ideas that I wasn't thinking of!

Thanks again!

here is a game I have been waiting to have an occasion to try...all of my friends are married though...

this is done with plunger and toilet paper

It is a little dirty but since it isn't personal business I think even grandparents can handle it.
