I'm wondering if there might be other single parents on the island during April 7-14. If you'll be there and might like to hang out (swim, tour, drink
), let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Dad, STJ is a great trip with a youngster. I found that Hawksnest usually had a lot of kids, especially on weekends. Maho and Francis Bay were good too. Another thing to try is beach or dinner at Maho Bay Campground. There are a lot of families there and kids are running about. My youngest is outgoing and was 6 in 2004 when we stayed at Maho. She made buddies at every beach.
Have fun!

i have to second Rick G's advice--hang at hawknest (or little maho /big maho) and you will find kids!--dinner at the maho pavillion is really laid back and at that time of year (school break) you are bound to fine lots of families with young kids--
my kids both made great friends when we were on island in Dec/January

Christine and I (Sterling) will be on STT that Sunday-Tuesday you are there. (we arrive on Saturday, but late.) We aren't single parents, but are kid-friendly (just married, trying) and will be staying at the Wyndham Elysian Beach resort (by the Ritz, just south of Red Hook). It is supposed to have a really amazing pool and is a family resort. Just give us a ring and see what we are up to.
