April Spring Break Jost Trip - Looking for another Family

Post by R&S from MI »

We are planning on introducing the kids this trip to a day sail and Jost this spring break trip. Sherri and I have 2 daughters 8 & 11 and are looking to see if any other forum families might be down for spring break with kids and would be interested in chartering a boat for a day sail. Will be on the island April 7 - 21. We have been to Jost before kids and are ready for a return trip.

We researched this a lot last year....we were a family of 4 and brought grandpa down for a trip. So, with 5 in all.....that filled most boats. Most of the boats can only take upto 6 passengers....so with another family you will definitely have to do the bigger group boats. Have you shopped around for renting a boat for just your family?

We will be on St. John April 5 - 12. We are a family of 3 with a daughter who will turn 7 during our trip. We have done previous trips to Jost with her. She liked it, but the trip was more for us than her. This time since it is her birthday we decided for it to be more about her, so just yesterday we set up a trip with the Wayward Sailor (Capt. Phil) to do a day snorkel trip for her. As stated in previous post most charters have a limit of 6 people to Jost. We will keep our eye out for you during our stay and hope you have a wonderful trip.

what would the cost be to split the trip? The 8th will be our last day and that would be a great way to end our trip. We don't have litle kids but we do love them. let me know?
