Car Rental - Using Their Lot

Post by canucknyc »

I know I have seen this information on this forum before, but I can't find it now. Which car rental places allow you to park in their lot while in town? I know Conrad Sutton does, anyone else to add to the list? Thanks a bunch.

St. John Car rentals does but we didn't have much luck there. We used Slimmans lot a few times, really convenient and not bad. I think the day we were there all day it cost us like $10 bucks.

Conrad Sutton allows you to park in their lot. We never had a problem finding a space. However, we do always travel in the off-season. Not sure if that makes a difference or not!

We have used Penn's with this being one of the real positives of their company. Their lot is across the street from Mixology/Lumberyard complex - centrally located and lots of spaces.

They ARE a bit higher this year as they don't offer a weekley rate but the cars are brand new.

I have a car reserved with Courtesy for May and they said we can park in their lot. :D That was a decision-maker for me.

St John Car Rental does (as mentioned), but if the lot is full, you can park at the Fish Trap. They own both buildings I gather and they told us it was OK.

I love St John Car Rental anyway. I busted up a light on my Jeep in august and they only billed me $20 to fix it.

I have used Courtesy in the past and as long as they have room they let you park on their lot which is right next to the police station by Woody's

We also used the St John Car Rental lot, worked out good. Only a few times that the lot was full, hit and miss kind of thing.

Love Penns and they have a large lot (by STJ standards anyway) :)
