As I understand March is supposed to be one of the driest months for STJ. I've been trying to monitor the weather in STJ but the weather channel, etc keep saying there's a 50% chance of rain every day.
I know these big services often don't cover more remote places, so thought I'd ask the locals where they get their forecasts.
so a follow up--when I wake up in the morning and trying to decide where to go that day, is there a place to check to see what's going on on the north side, like swells?
For the most accurate weather I have found here - I use it daily for sailing try www.weathercarib.com -- to see the swells and wave use their link to buoy 41043 and the graph charts.
that's a bad a$$ site, Exit Zero. That's exactly what we were looking for. Mr. Otter sails a lot in the San Fran bay so we wanted the nautical charts you guys are using locally.
Otters -it is best one I know of ----- weathercarib.com is privately operated and depends on community $ support - when we have serious weather concerns / late summer/ they are so darn good at staying up to the minute with info.
