On-Stjohn/with Ruth

Post by silverheels »

Video alert again: The interview with Ruth is available for viewing now on the www.on-stjohn.com site. They caution that you need a media player. It's quite good. Ruth does not disappoint and Ron remains elusive! :D

I hope that the next interview with Ruth is going to be about St. John Kids, her shop in the same complex. We haven't seen it since the move from Warfside (at least not live and in person ~ the pix she has of it are stunning).

Wow! That was fun. My favorite salt and pepper shaker came from STJ Spice and now I can't wait to try the Cruz Bay Grill Rub. Congrats to Ruth and Ron on your success!!

Thank you all very much for your kind words. We're glad you enjoyed the on-stjohn.com video.
It was fun to do and it's pretty interesting to see how they shoot it and then put all the pieces together into something cohesive.
They did a great job with our message. We enjoyed it and we're pleased.
We also enjoy this forum and think there is a special mix of people here. I can tell you that the people I have met thorugh this forum and others that preceded it have enhanced my life considerably.
St. John is indeed a magical place. We're proud to be a part of what keeps you coming back.
See you on St. John!

I'm sorry to say that we missed Ruth when we were in STJ in December. We made several stops to STJ spice for the Haitian Blue Voodoo coffee and christmas shopping. We just finished up a delicious steak with spiced pirates pepper spice. The video was great and we love the store! Can't wait to be back on STJ.

Excellent job Ruth!! I could just SMELL all the spicyness! :-)

One thing I love about shopping at your store is when you arrive home after a visit and open your suitcase to unpack, there's this wonderful aroma that drifts out! :-)

Hey, can you put that smell into a candle for me? That would be the BEST! :D

Ruth-
Lynn came over yesterday to bring food and help me out with all of our family being in town. My father-in- law isn't doing any better. She was telling me about the baskets she ordered from SJS and that yall did a fabulous job on them. Her brother and sister-in-law- loved the ornamnets and all of the sauces and s and p shakers. What a great idea. Im going to be doing the samething since we will be on STJ right after Thanksgving. You really impressed them and they appreciated how neat you did the baskets.

If anyone has someone on their Christmas list that is hard to buy for remember this idea. She puts together basket and will ship it. Just give her a call.

We had London Broil on the grill that I rubbed with CBGR and our friends raved about, they wanted to know where they could get it.
Right now I am making Buffalo Chicken Chili with Trinidad Charlie's hot sauce in it.
You just can't beat her stuff.

BTW- Ruth and Ron were always my favorite customers when I was bartending at Cafe Roma (and Richard too! Is he still around, Ruth?) We had some great laughs at that bar.
