iPhone. DVD

Could someone explain to me in very basic instructions just how. & what I need to put on my phone in order to download my DVD's to iPhone instead of buying movies through iTunes. Thanks guys. I think this has to be done on the computer instead of just getting an APP.

it has to be done via itunes--if youown the DVD load it into your computer like you would an ordinary music CD in tunes then it's pretty much basic download/sync after that--hmm actually there are all sorts of restrictions on DVD's that are not on CD's so this probably will not work, in which case you are stuck with buying it via itunes-and syncing etc.

That's it? I thought you had to install handbrake & then another program. My son told me he tried that already but I guess he didn't do it right. Thanks for the help, I'll try it today. We are leaving for Disney next week and my son has several movies we already have that he wants to watch on the plane.

it should give youoptions when you sync it. I don't think that we have any special apps to do this
