Picked this book up in Dec. at STJ Spice....... to have some STJ to read in the cold.....

Does anyone know if Karin and Bob stayed on island and if yes, what they are doing?

I got the book for Christmas and wondered the same thing.

It was a fun read. Different from the usual "Let's go to paradise" story. They actually had to work to do it and work once they got there. and, it wasn't glamorous like opening a 7-star restaurant. They had to find jobs and make it work to enjoy their little slice of paradise.

I liked it.

I call that the "Packing List Book." Serious OCD that's better second hand.

Now I'm interested in the book. My wife and I were considering a 10-year plan of our own.

If anyone would be interested in sharing the book when they are done, I would love to read it. I would either send it back or share it on to someone else.

17th, I'll look for mine and send it to you. After our first trip to the islands I was convinced we could live there. The first book I read was "The Settler's Handbook" and the 2nd book was "Desiring Paradise". Desiring Paradise is a really good book, and really made me re-think my grand ideas of moving!
