flight from Philly - domestic or international?
I know this has been mentioned previously, but as we are about 30 days away from our trip, I'm just trying to make sure. A question for those folks who recently flew from Philadelphia Int'l to St Thomas on US Airways, was it considered domestic or international? We have a non-stop flight...don't know if that makes a difference or not.
I just called US Airways and they told me international. I just don't want to be dragging everyone in my group from terminal to terminal at 5 a.m. which would not be pretty!
Thanks for any help on this topic.

I've seen it both ways. Last July it departed from a domestic gate, but the trip before our connecting flight was late and we had to run from C all the way to A-West with the kids in tow - of course. Thankfully they knew we were in and they held the flight for 20 minutes so that we could make it - USAirways has always been good about that.
They are flying 767s on the PHL STT run now. Up until recently it was A320's. May purely be a function of which gates are available to accomodate the larger planes. Also, anyone who has purchased tickets on this flight might what to check their seat assignments because of the 2-3-2 layout.

Dom or inter
I live in S. Jersey and use US Airway out of Phiily for most vacations to the caribbean and have seen it both ways so I would call to confirm (24-48 hrs)ahead of time and check then.
When we flew from PHL to STT in November, it was not from the new international terminal A-West. On all other trips, we flew from A-West (which I prefer simply because of the McDonalds there!)
you'll be able to tell if you check in online 24 hours before. This is something you'd definitely want to check out, since it is a LONG walk between the international and domestic terminals. We found that out the hard way when the taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong terminal once!
I also just noticed on Monday that they switched to 767's and messed up our seat assignments for our March trip.

I checked both flights and they still look the same as far as plane (757) and seat assignments. Thank goodness. We're traveling with five kids and I'd hate to have the seat assignments all messed up.
I planned on checking in online so hopefully that will provide me with the correct terminal. We've already been dropped off at the wrong terminal and had to hoof it with kids and luggage to a different terminal. Not fun at all. I'd prefer not to re-live that experience!
Thanks for all the help.
