I don't have any either! And I save all my change in a huge jar...right before vacation I take it to the change machine and usually end up with enough $$ for two nice dinners out. I went through a lot of change looking for those darned quarters!

I vote we expand the parameters, either to include our home state or Pete's idea is good too.

NEW PARAMETERS

Virgin Island, your state, if it has "Virgi" or "island" in the name.

Ok, so now I need to sort through my change jar again.

Tip bowl at Dunkin Donuts contained a Virgin Island quarter in it today. I saw it plain as day. The nice worker let me buy it for a buck...geeeez

I'm in too, although I've never seen one. We have a big water jug that we keep our change in. I will make sure to go through it. Should I include Virginia, West Virginia, Rhode Island, and Kentucky?
Great idea Mike!!!

Neither have I. And, I was just thinking about this thread the other day. Thanks for bumping it back into action, MBW.

We were having a coin drive at work to donate money to Haiti. I had people looking with me and not 1 USVI quarter. I was so bummed!

Change rarely passes through my hands; my husband has found one "Virgin Islands" and one "Virginia" quarter in over two months time filtering through lunch change. Guess we need to change our spending habits...

Husband bought something really cheap from a magazine.

2 brand new VI coins, plus 3 other territories.

I'll check with him if anybody is interested.

I got 10 VI quarters and a buch of Rhode ISLAND, VIRGINia, West VIRGINia, and Massachusetts ones.

I will tally up mine at the end of Q1 (March) and see what the total is. I am matching $1 for every quarter I come up with. We can all chime and tally up every 3 months to see how we are doing.

At the end of the year, it all gets donated.

I swear the girls at Dunkin' Donuts think up a freak for looking through the tip bowl.....lol, now they look for me.
