Cypress,
Yea, it got a little off topic there. Waterguy is such a nice guy that we couldn't help it!

OK to get back on the subject...I have used Coppertone's Endless Summer. I too am very fair complected and can't really tan. I just get kind of pink.

I use a bronzer in the tanning beds before I go on a beach vacation so I don't ruin the whole trip getting burnt.

I tan really well and get REALLY dark. I never knew what color to use and I was always scared of the orange glow.
Do they come in different colors?

Hey, if waterguy goes on the trip, do the ladies get to pick his wardrobe  ?

Back to self-tanners...i use tan towels too, you can also get them at hsn.com.

Usually most of them come in the normal light, medium and dark range. If you tan that dark, you'd probably go with that. I've always used the medium..

Vagirl........I think we could get in sooooo much twuuuuubllle together!

I think tan towels come in regular and dark. I bought the dark and I have average skin. I start out pretty light, but tan over my sunspots pretty well.

How careful do you have to be with the tan towel application? Do they streak? I've never tried any self-tanners, and I don't tan either, so I am ghost-woman! I would not mind a little (fake) glow though, if it's not too hard to apply.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

It's very easy to apply. You just wipe it on as if you were using a wet wipe to clean your skin. I am not extremely fair, but I fade out pretty fair this time of year. I used the darker version. You might want to try the lighter one. I did not have any streaking, but I was careful to try to spread it evenly. I rubbed it over the tops of my feet and avoided the heels, also went light on the elbows, and inner arms. My daughter even thought it looked really natural. It does not have that orange look at all.

I love a great tan, but I'm convinced it's the worst thing for your skin. I feel like I've found a product I can use continually, without much hassle. I won't continue something if it's a lot of trouble.

I would like to be able to sculpt muscle tone on my body with self-tanner---Ab, leg and arm definition. Optical Illusion. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Like the Neutrogena Continous spray mist stuff. It doesn't seem to smell so much. I'm picky about smells!
