YAY!
I have literally been through about 1000 quarters in my VI vacation bags (where I stash ALL change). And I finally found ONE.
ONE coin..............did you hear my whoo hoo? I could not believe it. I only had about 100 to go.....jeez. So all I have is one and it sure is pretty.
I'll keep looking all year, but what I went through is almost a years worth
Great idea, but I had no clue it would be so hard to find JUST ONE

I am in with that also! It will help push it up. I will also match my collection at the end of the year.Tracy in WI wrote:Went through all my quarters this morning and found Zero, zip, nada. I'm thinking we should each save our own state's quarters in addition to any for the VI. How does that sound?
P.S. I got 10 of the Virgin Island quarters.

It's a great idea and we definitely are in. But, they may be hard to come by. According to the U.S. Mint, the Virgin Islands quarter will have the second lowest number minted, only behind American Samoa, of all of the U.S. states and territories that will have quarters.
Heck, between all of us, we may get them all.
