Was the guy's name Chad and did he soundly oddly un-Chadlike?

He said his name was Theodoric, but he sounded more like a Masoom. I asked where was from (expecting Chennai, or Manila) and he said York. This was no Theodoric of York.

He did the working out of the problem and I will be very happy of him.

Wasn't Theodoric of York in The Lord of the Rings or something. Were you on with Mt Doom?
