I like his old stuff but his new stuff doesn’t really do it for me.

“Me and You” and “Back Where I Come From” are GREAT songs.

I am not really one to get star-struck so I wouldn’t care if I saw him on island or not. When he was on 60 Minutes awhile back I was much more excited to see STJ in the background than K.C. in the foreground. Not that I want STJ to get publicity though, it is getting too crowded!

I didn't have a clue who Kenny Chesney was before we went to STJ, so obviously I wasn't on a mission to find him. But after our 1st trip, I got turned on to Be As You Are and I have been a fan ever since! I like hearing him sing about places I've been to and I think the songs on that album are great! So I'm a STJ fan first, and a Kenny fan second. :D

Didn't know "Better as a Memory" was about Rene, but I like it!

We met Kenny Chesney at Joe's Rum Hut last week. No one seemed to be bothering him. As a matter of fact, he initiated the conversation with my nephew. We just talked about the changes we've noticed in the island over the years. Didn't discuss music or "who he was". Seemed like a down-to-earth, nice enough guy.

Marianne,
Most people that run into Kenny on island say he is pretty low key........UNless he has an 'entourage'...lol
Funny thing in 2 yrs living on island, never saw him with anyone but his GF or this guy who captn's his boat.........

Marianne...how lucky are you to run into him and to relay that's in general, he's a normal guy and nice to talk to your nephew like that.

Kirk...any flaming yet?
