You didn't shuffle your ipod!
I LOVE Eva Cassidy - my mama turned me on to her in 2001 or so. Love "I know you by heart"
JMQ - love the new Amos Lee song - "Windows are Rolled Down" he did a few of the new Mission Bell songs the last time I saw him live and he is cranking out some of the best music out there right now. I can't believe he is not more famous. He has the best stage demeanor. LOVE him!!!
My 5:
Lying in the Hands of God - Dave Matthews Band
Friday I'm In Love - Dryden Mitchell
Vieux Crowley - BeauSoleil
I Can Change - John Legend
Brain Damage - Pink Floyd
I-Pod Shuffle
Here we go. Guess you will know now that I'm no "Spring Chicken", but most of you knew that already.
Won't Back Down- Tom Petty
My Back Pages-The Byrds
Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes- Paul Simon
One More Day- Diamond Rio
Kentucky Rain-Elvis

Jewel ~ Angel Standing By
Toby Keith ~ Who's That Man
Johnny Reid ~ Tell Me Margaret (this might bring on the tears)
Jay-Z, Bono et al ~ Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour) Live

For those of you who have never heard of Johnny Reid, he is huge in Canada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Reid
He was on Detroit PBS last Sat. night and his CD makes its US Debut in March. Pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

Mbw - Since I've dropped a bit too much $ on iTunes lately, I have arranged to rip a Best of Frank CD from my BIL this weekend. Acceptable?mbw1024 wrote:Because why?????????jmq wrote: I don't have any Frank on CD or mp3 - I think I am violating some kind of local code on that, so please don't tell any Jersey guys whose last name ends with a vowel.
You have one hour to correct that. GO!
Flip - I will definitely check his show out if the Amos Lee tour swings this way. He is a fine songwriter.
Another spin while I'm at it:
John Fogerty - I Saw It on TV
Needtobreathe - More Time
Matt Costa - Sunshine
Dave Mason - We Just Disagree
Hot Tuna - Watch the North Wind Rise
When we come to place where the sea and the sky collide
