St. John ACC is in trouble

My Mom (another animal and STJ lover) sent $ to me so I was just able to make a bigger donation on behalf of both of us- yea! Couldn't agree more with STJ gal- hopefully they will give a more advanced notice if this happens again. I am really hoping they make it through this and find some good help to help them with their grants in the future. I wish I had that knowledge and could help them. I am continuing to try to get the word out. My daughter's birthday is coming up in September and she wants to have everyone donate to the ACC in lieu of gifts.
Does anyone know what would happen to the animals that are there now if they have to close?

Just think if every member on this forum would donate $5.00 that would total $14,000.00. Dig in everyone and look for that $5.00.

We did something amazing on the forum in June, in the memory of Mr. B.
We donated over $3,000 to the ACC I think.
We have got to be able to double that.
I asked AnneMarie what else other then donating and spreading the word can we do.
My heart is breaking as ACC was Stella's home til we adopted her.
They had to know they were in dire straits and we have 10 days..
Any ideas what else we can do?

Thank you to all that have helped
hi guys, you all ROCK! ¢¾ ¢¾ THANK YOU. the latest from the ACC is that donations are coming in and the shelter can cover expenses through mid-October! any and all helps, the more we can raise the more we can make a significant longterm difference for the ACC!

That's great news Designbyroe, but don't let up. That is not an indication that the problem is solved. We have only put it off for a month and a half. We need to keep them going until they can find a new permanent funding source.
If you haven't given lately, it is time to do so. Let's do what we can to keep those homeless pets fed, medicated and sheltered. How about if we all give a little to buy some real painkillers!
