Thank you CAGirl and lprof. And CAGirl, will look forward to seeing what you've done.
Linne - until I started doing stained glass I had NO creativity. I can draw a little, but that is the extent of it. I am so happy to have found some sort of artistic creativity to do.
I finally took a picture of the mirror I made. It's not nearly as impressive as the other pictures on this thread, but I'm kind of proud of it. The window I did is stashed away so I can't get a pic of it.
LOL Susan! Our sofa is a curved sectional with recliners on both ends from J.C. Penney of all places! It's about done for and we need to start shopping for a new one soon.
Very nice piece, Margo! Do you ever do glass stuff anymore? I often think about setting my studio back up, but the economy took it's toll on all of the local suppliers. I never could order glass online without seeing it first.
We also have a sectional from JC Penny's. It's pretty old now, but still in great shape.
When you find yourself in a hole.... quit digging.
Thanks everyone! I haven't done any glasswork in years, JT...no space! I downgraded to making jewelry as my creative outlet because that's something I can do on a tray in my lap. I couldn't order glass online, either, but fortunately in my area, there are plenty of suppliers...leaded glass is HUGE out here in the more upscale homes...I swear they all have it! If you didn't get so much damn snow JT, I'd move to MD and help you set up a studio!
