I am so sorry for all that your family has been going through. Best wishes to you and yours.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Jimmy, I'm so sorry to hear about still, more bad news. Prayers are with you and your entire family.

Let us know where we can make a donation. I know I can't attend the fundraiser, but I would certainly love to help with a donation. I'm sure many of your forum family would.

Jim,

My heart goes out to you and your family. There are so many days when I feel like I'm moving underwater, feeling the grief that some of my dear friends are going through. (2 deaths of children and the ending of a 24 year marriage this summer.) I'm so glad that you have Amy to lean on -- my DH has been my rock. Sometimes it just hits like a wall and you find yourself crying on a busy city sidewalk... but hang in there friend. God is holding you and your loved ones in his hands. We may never understand why things happen, but I believe that things will get better for all of you. Much love, hope and healing to you and your family.

Jim - This is just awful.. I feel so terrible for you and your family having to deal with one devastating thing after another!

I have a friend who had that flesh eating disease about 15 years ago. He was in intensive care for at least a couple of weeks, and now he has a huge scar running up his arm, but he's here and healthy 15 years later and greeting people as they walk into Costco!

You are good to put off your wedding for a while. It wouldn't be any fun without your siblings there, anyway!

You're in my thoughts every day!

Oh, Jim, I'm so sorry. Your entire family is in my thoughts and I look forward to the iformation about the fundraiser. You and Amy are a shining example.

I still have 1 card to send to Paul, but it's a funny card and I wanted to hold it until he was a little further down the road. Do you think he's ready for it or should I sit on it a little longer?

When it rains, it pours.

You're all still in my prayers. I hope everyone recovers soon.

You and Amy have more already than many who are married. You are truly blessed, and you will get through this together -- stronger.

Big hugs going out to you.

is it MRSA? It's a flesh-eating virus, commonly picked up in hospitals, that is getting to be a global pandemic. Really creepy. Good for you to be such a support...

You and your family are in my prayers, it is really hard when one thing after another happens....you just want a break..this I understand.
At least you can get to St John in Nov and waiting on the wedding is good.
May the heavens bestow blessings on you and your family in this time.

Hopefully I will get to see you since I get to St John on Nov 12, Chris is not coming with me but I will buy ya both a strawberry black out punch from QM Kenny
