Does anyone else hate the new format for facebook?

Half the time I can't get on it, I can't get my pix in there as easily and it's simply not as user friendly.

Sorry, just had to vent. And, I was wondering whether any of you all were experiencing the same problems.

Oh Pete. You are a goofball. Even you wrote on your facebook that you didn't like the new format.

Sorry folks for the marital conversation here. It was not intentional.

Pete, it's time for bed now. We have puppy school at 9:00 am.

I thought that was funny... my wife just started to play around on there - finding all her old friends, connecting with family members all over the place...
I just don't like it for some reason - I have tried to put my finger on it but it is sort of hard to explain without sounding like a luddite, but I just feel like the whole thing is too voyeuristic...

Anthony - I'm with you (KatieH breathes a sigh of relief). I'm glad to hear that our uber cyber guru feels the same

Pete and Marcia - Hope the puppy training goes well today.

It's actually sort of narcissistic. But, it has been a good way to reconnect with all of my nieces and nephews who are in their twenties. Their FB profiles are like a shrine to themselves...kind of funny...not ha ha funny...odd funny.

My TAD says she and her friends don't like the new format either. She says there are a lot of FB groups who are petitioning to have the previous format back.

I didn't realize so many adults use FB and am interested to know how many forumites have accounts. I've thought about signing up, but the only person I actually know who has one is STJ Ruth. Who else out there is on FB?

In my opinion, there are two benefits to FB. First, it's a way for members of my family who are spread throughout the country to stay better in touch. Second, it's a great way to share photos.

The rest of it is just fluff.

I've been invited twice to join Facebook, but I just don't want myself THAT out there. I'm visible enough on this forum, and I haven't had any negative experiences resulting from my presence here. But things like Facebook and My Space are just tooooo visible for me. I already get enough junk mail and I don't need any stalkers, thank you. :D

You can set the privacy settings on FB so that your profile only can be seen by "friends", i.e., people that you either invite to access your site or people who have invited you and whose invitation you have accepted.

If I thought it would promote stalking, I wouldn't let my kids on there.
