I'm not going much before you are, so I'm not much help.

However, after today I am seriously contemplating putting a last-minute plane ticket on my credit card and taking a few well-deserved "sick" days.

I am already packed...

Hey Gromit - No TR here, and it looks like Flip Flop is going to retain her stellar reporting reputation by not fabricating additional days  , so how about a new thread for Pre Trip Reports? I'll be glad to go on and on about the planning stages....

Signed,

Desperately seeking St John.

My Pre-trip report would be boring and repetitive:

Pine... check the board... pine... check the board.. pine some more...

See a pattern?

I need help!!

Hi Gromit,

I'm with you, about to lose it! I'm starting my busy time here in Washington. Everyone wanting everything for free, don't they know I have to pay for my trip to St. John! My favorite so far today, coming from a non-profit organization that will remain nameless, said to me "but it is for charity" we would love for you to donate your time and services for our event. A dinner for over 1,000 at the Washington Hilton no less.
Sorry for the rant, I told you I'm losing it! I can't wait for Nov. 30 :D

Sure you can Gromit. You need to take FlaGeorge’s Rx:
• Get that coconut scented candle burning to set the mood.
• Put an island CD in and fill the house with “Island Music”
• Line up the Rum bottles on the counter.
• Break out the blender and listen to the whirl – turn it off & on several times. I can hear it now, Whirl – Whirl – Whirl
• Now that you got the blender going – this would be a good time to add the rum, fruit juice and ice and make a frozen drink.
• Remember, the music is blaring in the background – so as you’re blending, you need to be dancing too.

Nothing like doing an “Island Run” to get into the mood. Let me know when you’re going to do this – I’ll be right over.
