First off, i would like to thank everyone for your posts. I've found them to be very informative and helpful.

I've search high & low, is there any reviews for Beach Garden Villa through Vacation Vistas?

What's the proximity to Pond Bay?

There is a proximity to Pond Bay no doubt, but.....
You can not see Pond Bay from the house and you would have to go down to waters' edge and look hard left to glimpse it. Between the sound of the water (which isnt much) and the distance, it won't bother you a bit. You have to go out of your way to know it's there. Pond Bay construction is actually elevated about 10 or 15 feet above the shoreline so it's not like you are looking down at the evil scar.
No worries, you would love the place.

We stayed at Beach Garden in July. It's a one of a kind house and the owners plunked some serious $$$$ and tlc into this house. Pond Bay can definately be seen and heard from Beach Garden but we did not have any serious problems. Snorkeling in Chocolate Hole is really cool - don't miss it. We especially enjoyed our snorkel the morning of our departure. The upstairs shower is the highlight of the house, it's like showering on your own private yacht - makes it hard to conserve water. The breezes were nice and kept the mosquitoes at bay but there were some noseeums at dusk on some nights. The house wasn't quite finished when we were there, but the agency bent over backwards to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Our teenage daughters really enjoyed the luxury- the den was like the lobby in a 5 star asian hotel. If you have specific questions, feel free to pm me.

Beach Garden VIlla

Post by FZNinMN »

Just returned from St John last week. Yes, we were there during hurricane Omar, the last flight into St Thomas and the last ferry over to St John before the hurricane made landfall. Luckily, St John wasn’t in the eye of the storm and didn’t endure much damage. :)

First off I would like to comment on how accommodating Vacation Vistas was during the hurricane threat – because they were worried that Beach Garden Villa probably wasn’t the best place to be during the hurricane, with our safety their #1 concern - they put all 8 of us up in a room at the Westin for two nights, not skimping on any of the luxuries we may have expected while staying at the villa. As soon as the hurricane had passed Wed night/early Thurs morning, they had the villa ready for us by noon Thursday.

Upon our arrival to the villa, all 8 of us were pleasantly surprised at how lucky we were to be staying at such a lovely place during our vacation! This house is absolute luxury and has beautiful views of Chocolate Hole. Each bedroom with private bathroom was perfect for our party of 4 couples with all rooms being equally luxurious. We found ourselves spending a lot of our time on the deck enjoying the views and the nice pool. Vacation Vistas checked in on us occasionally throughout our stay to confirm our stay was pleasant.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book another vacation through Vacation Vistas in the future and definitely hope to have the opportunity to stay at the Beach Garden Villa again. Thumbs Up for Vacation Vistas and the Beach Garden Villa!
