Cape Air SJU to STT
Cape Air SJU to STT
Hiya Folks!
Now that we are under the two month point for the massive November get together, I feel like I can start asking my questions without the sinking feeling that it is just too far away and depressing to think about!!
I know there are FAA regs about electronic devices being in operation on flights, but I was wondering if anyone who used CapeAir was permitted to, or just plane (pun intended) used a camera or camcorder for the short jump to STT?
I have some shots from a big AA Airbus, but I imagine that the views from a Cessna would be really cool.

It shouldn't be a problem. RickG and I flew a Clair Aero 7 seater plane from Tortola to Anegada. We pulled out the camera as soon as we came upon the island and took some amazing pictures.
Cheers,
Christine

Couldn't find a video of SJU to STT, but here's one from SJU to Vieques on Cape Air which will give you some idea of the flight:

Your question has obviously been answered, but I'll chime in and say that you'll very likely be able to use your camera or camcorder on the flight. From my understanding, the "no electronic devices" rule is mainly for cell phones. In fact, I've taken pictures upon landing many times in large jets and no one has ever said anything to me.
Have fun on that flight. I took a similar flight in Costa Rica last May and loved it. My next desire is to take a sea plane flight from STT to STX.

Jay used the iPhone to take some pics from the plane when he was flying back from PR to STT.
