I think that is most likely the view from the villa. We stayed on Ajax Peak (higher up) and the view was similar. The views (and breezes)from there are outstanding. That really does look like a nice villa!

We stayed at La Mer in May and definitely did not need AC. We slept with a light blanket on, in fact. The breezes are good all the way up there. My only realy quibble with the house is that the great room has sliders all around, but there are no screens. So, it is either wide open or closed to the breezes. I don't know, maybe it is too windy up there for screened sliders? The bedrooms all have screened sliders though, so I really don't know.

Anyway, it is a really nice house. I noticed DSJ recently updated the photos for it on their site, which is good because the old ones did not do the house justice.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
