Need Ideas for our 5th anniversary
Need Ideas for our 5th anniversary
The wife and I will be on St. John for our 5th anniversary (we honeymooned there). I'm looking for suggestions of fun/romantic things to do on our actual anniversary day, Saturday, October 4th. "Sky's the limit", actually my credit limit is somewhat short of the sky...maybe a small hill
. Seriously we are into just about anything from daysail, parasail, hiking, snorkeling, laying around eating bon bons. All I've come up with so far is to get a picture of our wedding cake and send it to St. John cakes (http://www.stjohncakes.com) to see if they can duplicate the top layer and maybe a nice dineer out somewhere. Thanks in advance!

						Congratulations on your 5 years!
Funny my anniversary is Oct. 5th! I always want to do like a dinner/evening sail combo but it can get a little pricey. We usually just sail out for the day with Captain Joe on the Scubadu, but he also does private sails in the evening. He's also a great chef! If you do decide to do it, let me know how it is:

Another suggestion (which was recently discussed on this forum) is how about a private dinner in the ruins at Caneel Bay? I

Caneel Bay's Wine Room for dinner
How about dinner at Caneel Bay's Wine Room - Located within the walls of an 18th-century plantation house.

Hi BeacnMan - I have shot photos to record/print memories of many an anniversery. Recent shoots of things guys have done include: a private dinner in the ruins at Caneel, a private sunset sail for 2, serving her a simple champagne lunch in the water and most romantic of all - renewing your wedding vows. Every wife wants a vow renewal whether she admits it or not. I'm planning on a shopping trip to look for new wedding rings after 20 years to last the next 20 years.

Another Caneel option, you can have a private dinner right on the beach! They surround the table with tiki torches and flowers--you are right on the water's edge. It looks really romantic. I like this option better than the ruins, but I am weird that way.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
