bars of St John Tshirt

Post by goingback »

While we were at Skinny legs during our trip last April, my husband purchased a Tshirt with the bars of St John (and maybe St Thomas??? I don't remember for sure.) Somehow, the Tshirt has been lost. I was thinking ahead and I would love to replace it for him as a Christmas gift. Anyone willing to help me out? Turn me in the direction of where I can purchase it online. Or can someone purchase and I will pay for it???
Does anyone even know what I am talking about?

I know what you're talking about because I bought one on eBay, believe it or not! If you try eBay, put "St. John USVI t-shirt" in the search box and see what happens! :D Good luck!

I'd be glad to pick it up for you, if you don't mind waiting some. I leave on 10/31 and return on 11/8, as I'm part of the SOTB II. It'd still be to you in time for Christmas. I can mail it to you when I get home (I see that I'm not all that far from you). Let me know. I'll need to be reminded. Ali~

Did you buy it at the Jolly Dog shop or Skinny's shop? When we were on STJ in May I looked for one of those t-shirts but I couldn't find one anywhere. You might try calling Jolly Dog. They may be able to help you locate one.

The last time I saw them they were at this store (below) - maybe they could mail one directly to you but I'm not sure they are open right now due to the "off" season being in full swing :)

I got one at Jolley Dog next to Shipwreck the first part of August. I think I remember them saying they just got in a new shipment and had been sold out for a while. I don't know what the status is right now.

Got mine at Jolly Dog last month, too....and the lady said they should be getting more and you could order on line. Only thing, and I didn't even notice this I was so happy to find one, Woody's is spelled Woodies..Cypressgirl and I were in Woody's when one of the twins pointed this out to us  . We weren't sure where a couple of the bars on the list were located, and he pointed out the mistake when answering our questions.

Oh, another great shirt we found at a shop in Mongoose has been a hit wherever I wear it - this one says, "If found, please return to St John"...how true, how true. I keep hoping someone will grab me and take me to the airport!

I have that one and it worked! I bought it on our trip in June '07, and one night John saw me walking around the house wearing it with a mopey face so he got on the computer and booked us to go back last October for a stay at Gallows and Caneel. Some of the best $20 I ever spent! :D

My favorite is "Dog is my co-pirate" from Jolly Dog. I like to wear it to the dog park.
