I don't think I should tell anyone in this setting. I think I'm going to rent a meeting room at the Westin and charge everyone $100 to learn how I did this.  Let's pick a week when we can do this.

I suppose I could go into a lengthy explanation using lots of jargon and double talk; but I'd need more rum for that. (oops, there's that other obsession again :o ) It is not a matter of talent. It is about having the software that you need and the persistance to make it work. It's really very simple. Those of you who have met me knew that this must be true because I was able to do it. :) I used Windows Movie Maker, and it probably comes with your Windows OS. Left click on the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen. Find "All Programs" and look for the program. It may be difficult to find.

It allows you to have a video track, sound track and graphics track. It is limited. For example, it will not allow two sound objects to run at the same time. Powerpoint will permit that. Unlike Powerpoint, WMM will allow fading in and out of sounds. It took an inordinate amount of time for me to make this one. Now that I've done it once, the next one will be easier.

There are help functions in the program and on line. If you get frustrated with it, find a 10-year-old. He or she can show you how it works. :D

Good luck with documenting your adventures.

JIM
