And in this corner...weighing in at...

42 lbs.

Rob's cooler! (echo...echo...)

I just did a load test of the cooler and it came in at 42 lbs We still need to add in the yet-to-be-bought cheeses. I am hoping to keep my wife as far from the Starfish Gourmet Market as I can lest I need 2 more jobs. She threatened to bring the deed to the house, plop it on the floor and do as much damage as she could before she ran out of money.

I may ed up off-loading some dry goods to the suitcase because, at this point, it's holding a very silly assortment of things:
2 Neat Sheets
2 inflatable pool toys (4 adults on this trip)
The Tevas (wearing flip flops for the trip down)
My hat and bandanna collection (thin hair + tropic sun = recipe for headache)
The toiletries (including a gazillon little hotel shampoo and conditioner bottles (I pilfer them from my hotels...I don't need a whole lot of shampoo)

The wheeled carry-on has all of our clothes plus the snorkel gear. My extended family has not had a trip on Delta that was not for work in the past 18 months that did NOT result in lost bags. I'd like to know that, if all else fails, I can be clothed and snorkeling next week.

By backpack will have the laptop (brought along for Olympic results and Fantasy baseball checking ...utterly ...and under the penalty of death NOT for checking work email)
The assorted cables and cords to support such a wireless life.
My reading materials

I need to plow through a 4-hour block of conference calls this afternoon and I'll be all set.
