Woo Hoo! Villa and airline booked!

Over the weekend we took a gamble and booked our flights for our 6/09 trip. We have FF miles and were afraid that those seats would be taken quickly, especially on the only non-stop flight from Chicago to STT so we booked it. The tickets would have cost us almost $3000 if we had paid for them!

So, of course, we then booked our villa right away. Now we just have to sit back and wait and wait and wait. I will really miss the villa search that consumed my life for the past few months. I love the planning!

Keep your fingers crossed that our flights don't get cancelled!

Congratulations! I know how hard it is to find non-stop ORD > STT flights that you can book with miles. (I've never found ones where the timing works for us.) Are your miles on United or AA?

I'm right there with ya'. DH and I also arrive on June 9th. Wish I could say we're on a non-stop flight but we'll be using 3 of American's planes to get ourselves to STT. It's a long day but so worth it. Flights all booked for the whole family and villa was booked 2 months ago. Now we wait and wait and wait.

Chicagoans- We're flying United. We've taken these same round trip flights every time we've gone to STJ in the last 4 years, so I'm hoping that they won't be cancelled since they've been around a while and always full.

Thinking about flights for us has been replaced with near daily checks to see for our Feb 09 direct flight is still on the schedule. Also, we are going to the BVIs so I have lots of planning related to a new destination.

I am also trying to figure out how to get back to STJ in July.
