Very cool. Sorry for sounding dumb but, Anthony, who is she? Did we just see her singing at Rhumblines in May while we were on STJ?? She still sounds the same....just a little older like the rest of us. When was this video made?

Yes - my local expert here thinks that video is about 15 to 17 years old. If you notice in the beginning they drive by La Tapa and Woody's - before they were La Tapa and Woody's :)

I think it's older than that. Do you know her name? I'm going to look for her next time we're on the rock. I really enjoyed listening to her sign and play.

Wow, that was very cool. It was fun to see Pusser's and Seabreeze. Was the last part at The Back Yard Bar? T-Bird still plays all around, including High Tide.

Thanks Anthony-
I did notice that Cafe Roma was there. I remember Pusser when I started coming to St.John around 1992. How long has Cafe Roma been on-island? That should help with dating the video. Very cool video 8)

Thanks for posting that, Anthony. When we left you all at the BB we went over to Rhumb Lines for dinner, and T-Bird was playing there. Very nice. What happened to her band? Or was that just some musicians that just got together? Whose video is that? Very cool, like Ruth said!

Great meeting you, Anthony....are you still on Island?

StJohnStyle - date that video for us then - you must remember the year by your car! Hey Bert - I am still here, finally on St. John after a full week of work on St. Thomas. Right now I am trying to configure a webcam - with no luck so far! We will post it as soon as we can get it running -

My best guess is 1991. I see Schmitty's bar was still there (before it was Hitchcock's, then Woody's). I also think that was Andy Rutnik coming out of Janet's art studio (Today's Flowers location).

I think Cafe Roma has been there since 1988.

found the original link to the T-Bird Video on this site: http://greggjonesmusic.com/

Gregg plays with T-Bird alot and can be seen playing guitar in the Backyard part of the video.

While the shots of STJ people and bands over the years are fun, you should search around and find the link to his flickr account. He has some really great photographs in there.

Anthony, thanks for posting! This was so much fun to watch. I'm a big T-Bird fan - Sunday nights at Rhumblines is a must for us to see her and enjoy her voice!
