Re-Entry is a B-I-T-C-----

Post by CariBert »

We are back and NOT loving it. :( :( What a fantastic trip. I am busy downloading about 1000 pictures...gonna be a while before I can post anything.

We stayed at a villa called Idyllic overlooking Great Cruz Bay. Very nice, a villa report will follow the trip report. We do like to stay on that side of the Island. Cruz Bay is getting redicu;ous. We parked at Mongoose Juntion and walked all over CB from there. NO Parking!

High Lightes:

Gibney
Rhumb Lines
BB on Sunday with Jazz
Meeting a lot of our folks there.
The Villa Pool
Break Away Charter to the BVI
Skinney's (of course)

The list goes on and on....Thanks Ruth for your hospitality.....and I finally met the ever elusive Anthony......Great guy! :D

More later...I have to go get more happy uice.....I am Sooooooo not happy to be home......

Welcome home! ( or not). can't wait to hear about the villa. I agree with you about parking in Cruz Bay? It is aweful! did anyone at Mongoose say anything to you about leaving your car there? I remember when they used to have a lady standing out there in the parking lot making sure you were shopping there!

CG...I'm a-workin on it.....

suzi....we parked there (at Mongoose) and went into one of the stores......didn't matter which one.....and then took off for town. Never had anyone say anything to us. They sort of slack off on being hard asses in the Off Season...Which, by the way, is quickly dissappearing!!!

My symapathies are with you, Bert & Barb. Welcome back to the heat! (I'm sure it is as hot in your neck of the woods as ours.) Glad to hear you had a good trip. The cure for the back-home-blues is planning the next trip, so get with it! I'm busy trying to decide on villa, airfare, etc for 2009. Can't wait to hear your trip report & see your pics.

Oh - did you see your pictures in the webcam doing your "walk of woe" sandscript? Look for the topic, "Caribert in action".
