TGIF Underwater

Post by Maggy »

Since no one has posted an underwater pic yet, I take the opportunity to show a Queen Triggerfish at the Dogs this May. This is taken under my Advanced Open Water course and the very first time ever I took pictures underwater.

Thank you everyone! I got a little help editing this picture in Photoshop as it was a bit too dark and this was the result:

I will get Photoshop in the future. My current editing program is not as good.

Wow, Maggy, now that it is edited it is even more spectacular! What a beautiful fish.

Maggy!!! That pic is awesome! Did you take that course that you mentioned from Steve Simonsen?

The Advanced Open Water course consist of 5 dives, 2 mandatory (deep water and Navigation) and then 3 optional dives (there are many to chose from) and this was called "Underwater Photography". It was theory including a test and then the dive itself where you dove with the instructor and tried to practice what you had learned. It was with Dive BVI.

Who is Steve Simonsen? I know Dive BVI has a UW photo course, I have seen that on their website, but that was not the one I took.
