I never finished my report- OOPS here it is
I just realized that I never finished. I still have one full day and our travel day so here goes.
Day 6
We all awoke in the middle of the night to crazy winds. It was blowing like crazy and we were all a little freaked out. The tree next to house was hammering away at the roof and in the darkness it was a little scary. We were all so exhausted from the Jost trip that we managed to fall back to sleep and slept a little late.
We were very slow going and had a nice breakfast at the house and set out for Coral Bay. Our friends had never been there so I thought that a quick (haha) hike to Drunk Bay would be great. Hindsight is 20/20
It was hot. Not usual STJ hot, it was damn hot with no breeze. I was wishing for the winds that we had overnight, but we would not be so lucky.
Walking by the salt pond was nasty. It stunk so bad but we trudged on and as soon as we got to Drunk, the breeze was there. We sat and caught our breath and just looked around. Once we cooled off, we headed back past the nasty stinky pond and cooled our feet in the water on the beach. The walk up to the car was a flipping nightmare. It was so %&$#@%$ing hot and the quick walk seemed like 10 miles.
We finally made it to the car. We stopped by Shipwreck to do some shopping. While we were in Jolly Dog, the lovely West Indian woman working noticed my sunburn and offered some assistance. I said sure and she ran out of the store with a bag. She met us inthe parking lot with fresh aloe and just started rubbing it all over my neck and back. It stunk almost as bad as the salt pond and we ran to the car and got the heck out of there as fast as we could. My friend was washing it off me with water and we were all gagging at the smell. It was pretty funny. The smeel did not go away until I took a shower
We headed to Skinny's for drinks and burgers- YUMMY and I rang the bell for Howie. Chip and my friend had black cherry cruzan and lemonade and they gave it two big thumbs up. We are making them next weekend
We headed to Francis for some napping and relaxing.
ANOTHER CRAZY PERSON AT FRANCIS STORY
We were just soaking in the water, cooling off and there was a young couple next to us on Caneel Towels. She wanted to go and he did not. She was hungry and he was not. He kept swimming around and yelling to her on the shore "Look at me, I am Amphibian Man"
She was not amused, but we were.
I may avoid Francis next year for fear of loud crazy people.
We stopped at St John Spice for some more shopping and
headed back to the villa and started the initial pack and just chilled out in the pool. We still had the chicken that we brought all the way from CT, so Chip cooked it and made some awesome Chicken Nachos. (with 3 pounds of chicken) and we watched a beautiful sunset.
Around 8, we knew we needed to eat something else so we went to FishTrap for some apps and a few drinks and to say goodbye to my friend Sharon.
Back to the villa for final packing.

Well, I have to say that aloe works for me! I keep a plant in my kitchen. One time I was flipping duck breasts in a pan and the hot fat splashed up and hit me in the neck and also on the side of my face. I had huge blisters and I thought I was going to scar, which really freaked me out. I put the aloe right on, and after a few weeks the marks were gone! Maybe it does not work on sunburn though...hmm...
Amphibian Man....ha ha! Thanks for the laugh, and for continuing your report!

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

What the heck is up with Francis?
Every single time we’ve been there we’ve encountered loud people who make it unpleasant. I don’t get it.
I know exactly what you’re talking about with the aloe...my husband and I think it smells like BO
