I was in Rendezvous Bay today anchored up by Ditleff beach. Not sure what is called Point Rendezvous - is it a villa?
There were quite a few yellow heavy machinery vehicles in the Ditleff area working - including a large tracked crane type with a rock crusher on its boom. That was fairly loud after their lunch break and still working at 2:30 when I left. Some other construction sites around the bay but I couldn't hear any other work. Didn't see any other land clearing work.
The amount of land clearing and bare rock and dirt exposed around the entrance road to Ditleff was fairly extensive and the small sediment screens erected were being knocked down or overwhelmed by rocky debris coming downhill to the water. The area around the beach has been cleared in a lot of places by the road and the new stone steps.
