Another meat and potatoes girl here
Laugh if you must, but you take those little weenies, wrap 'em in bacon and douse them in brown sugar and people will go CRAZY for them. At least in the midwest. They are super tasty.

Nice, X! I am glad they were a hit. It certainly sounds better than what I got on the 4th, which was NOTHING. I was specifically told not to bring anything, and every single item on the table, even the DIPS, had red meat in it, which I don't eat. I have been a part of John's family for 16 years and I still have to put up with this passive agressive crap from his aunts. WHATEVER! I brought wine and just smiled the entire evening. John said I did my best ever Stepford wife impression. He just booked us the fall trip I wanted to salute my performance, so I guess it was worth it.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
Yes, St. John. Yes, the wine was good. The trip will be better!mbw1024 wrote:Is that a STJ trip? If so it was SO worth it! Hope the wine was goodliamsaunt wrote: He just booked us the fall trip I wanted to salute my performance, so I guess it was worth it.
