First time trip report Days 1 & 2
We left home (San Diego) at 5:30pm on Friday and arrived at STT at noon on Saturday. SAN-LAX-JFK-STT is not the most direct flight but it beats wasting a whole day traveling. Rachel greeted us with a big hug at the airport. What a great welcome to the VIs! We loved her! (thanks X!)It had been a while since our last trip so the new Red Hook was a real pleasant surprise.
After a stop at STJ Car Rental we were off to Villa Anole. We had stayed at Mango Bay a long time ago so were familiar with John's Head Road. Anole is further down the road. The arrival was breath taking. Whata view!

One of four equal bedrooms

The way to the pool. Total privacy - surrounded by rain forest

Privacy with a view - not a bad combination

Total villa gravity Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. Then to the Beach Bar where we met some beautiful ladies. They're sometimes known as XIsland Girl, Mrs Captn Jay, and St. John Ruth. Loved meeting everyone!

More to come!

I guess just ask and you shall receive.... For me, it's all about the view when picking a villa. I've been interested in Anole for awhile but was concerned about the over-grown vegetation, etc. that had been previously reported. It appears that someone got the word and has cleaned up the place. Can't wait to hear and see more. And yes, those are some lovely island girls in your pic.
Have a happy 4th and thanks for sharing. Ali~
