We fly out of Myrtle Beach on Thursday, 7/10. Keeping my fingers crossed that we won't have any first hand knowledge re: all the negative experiences about Spirit and hoping for uneventful trip to STT!

We leave SFO at 8:50 pm on the 11th, get to STT at 11:09 am on the 12th. At least I'm keeping my fingers, toes, legs and anything else I can cross, crossed. We had plane problems on our trip in March just getting to STT.

I believe we'll be joining you at the bb as well on the 13th (arriving on the 9th)...One question, kids allowed? We have a 2 1/2 year old boy that I'm sure would love to hang out on the beach in front...

Greyhound Mom:

Sorry but we had to cancel our trip and won't be at the beach bar party. Kathleen's mother is quite ill and we just can't be that far from home.

I guess after buying travel insurance for the last 20 plus years of travel to the Islands it is finally going to pay off.

We're keeping our airline tickets open and hope to go at a later date if things improve.

In the mean time, drink one for us and have a blast.
