I'm not sure about STJ Car Rental but I think Bougainvillea Car Rental does. Web site is http://donaldschnell.com/concierge/st-j ... ental.html phone 1-800-253-7107.

Thanks for the info. I am not familiar with the location of Bougainvillea. Will we be able to walk there from the ferry?

Also, does anyone have any first hand experience with renting the four door Wrangler?

Bougainvillea Leasing (Car Rental) is the first building after you go past wheree the old Texaco used to be (before you get to the bakery and the Tamarind Inn. It's an easy walk from the ferry.

My husband says STJ Car Rental has them too. We always rent from them and he saw one parked in their lot.

St John Car rental does have them and I wish that I rented one.
It was really tough for 4 people in a 2 door Jeep. There was no storage room and the guys had a really hard time getting in and out of the back with all our crap.

Don't know about renting on St John ... we rented a 4 door and a 2 door from Budget at STT for 6 of us (other than a delay getting our vehicles, no fault of theirs, they were great). We found the 4 door had lots of room; we even put all 6 of us in it when we went out for dinner ... 2 in the front, 3 in the back seat and 1 hunched over in the very back. Lots of room in the 4 door for 4 people and a lot of luggage (okay, I admit it, it was our 1st time and we packed way too much).

Good luck.

Dependable on STT has them. Nice vehicle....we will be renting one on each of our upcoming trips. Nice local company to deal with as well.

I emailed STJ Car rental for my own trip and they replied this morning that they don't rent the 4 door Wrangler.

Morning MB!! Thanks for checking and letting me know about SJ Car Rental. I think I will check with Bougainvillea - I like the idea of not having to return it until noon.

Have a great Sunday!
