VayCay Over :(

Post by VayCay »

Well, we are back, w/our wallets busted, but a new found love of the island and each other! I suprised the heck out of my girlfriend and proposed on our second night (she accepted) at ZoZo's Ristorante...what a fantastic dinner! Anyhow, i'm pooped still from a long day of travel yesterday, and a trip-report loaded with pictures will be soon come!

Ty again forum for all of your wonderful recommendations, tips, and advice!

Hey CAgirl...

Piece of Cake!!! i grew up in an area w/canyons everywhere, Potrero, Box, Mullholland, etc, etc...Actually Our Villa Rep we followed was driving like a bat out of hell, and despite our travel weariness i kept up...only had one issue and that was when the Chevy Cargo van came flying around a corner at about 35mph out on the east end (didn't know that was possible) hogging up the middle of the road...SWERVE!! but other than that...no prob...rest will come in Trip Report! I didn't forget about you! :)

I just KNEW you'd do ok on those roads. Us Californians are used to that hilly, switchback stuff!

Congrats on the engagement! How special! Can't wait for trip report - hopefully with some flight info because I think we are on the same red eye out of LAX in July.
