Has anyone stayed at the following:

Calypso Cove
Veridian Garden
Treasure Ridge
Caribe Villa

Any input with any of these would be great

Thanks

Hey GoBucs

Does this mean that you have a trip in the planning. You lucky duck. Need a villa cook? I'm available.

There's been a couple of Caribe Villas, who is managing this one/where is it? We've stayed in the one on Boatman Point.

Calypso Cove looks interesting, but I've always wondered about bugs down there.

gb,

we stayed at treasure ridge with another couple in dec 06, very nice & well equipped, fantastic views from outer fish bay to east to north side of stt to northwest, great full length covered porch and convenient location. while not needed due to great breezes and cooler weather in dec, great room does not have ac. with the western exposure might need ac summer to early fall.

only negs to us were pool on lower level from great room and 2 master bedrooms did not have water views but open to the entrance foyer. also while may be done by now, there was a villa under construction next door that impairs feeling of privacy for the bedroom on that side.

happy hunting.

Okay, that's the Caribe Villa I know, is/was owned by artist Peter Max - http://www.beachnutsvacations.com/caribevilla.htm

I would double check that this is a current listing. As far as I know Caribe Villa is not being rented. None of the other companies that used to list this villa have it any longer and the rates on the Beach Nuts site look old.

This is a very open villa with an outdoor kitchen. The breezes from across the South Shore are very cooling. The upstairs two bedrooms are very nice with lots of sun and breezes. The downstairs three bedrooms, access via external stairs, are darker.

I reviewed the villa here and in my trip report in 2005 - http://www.garvin.us/STJ/Trip_Reports/2 ... of_10.html

I rented this villa through VIVA in 2005, but I don't see it on their site any longer. I was hoping that it would come back on the market after a renovation.
