Travel Insurance: NO need to purchase prior to final payment

Post by Anthony »

By clicking on the CSA link on the left, you will be able to obtain a free, no-obligation quote and then purchase trip insurance from CSA without having to provide any information about when final payment is due. However, if you call CSA to purchase insurance, they may require you to provide such information depending upon the coverage you are purchasing. Also, if you purchase by phone the Forum will not get the credit unless you make sure to tell them that you are buying through Producer VIONLINE. It will not cost you anymore to buy through the Forum either directly online or by phone - we appreciate your support - thanks!

I've used CSA three times , never had to make a claim but I had no complaints with the product.

I went through the CSA contract pretty thouroughly when I bought last year. As with all insurance contracts there is lots of language designed to protect the company. I too noticed that the website didn't ask when the final payment was due, but as I recall the safest procedure would be to buy the insurance before making the final payment to avoid the chance of having them disclaim if in their claims investigation they discover that you bought after the "deadline."

Just my two cents :-)

An advantage of purchasing trip insurance through the Forum is that we have arranged with CSA to offer plans (Freestyle and Freestyle Luxe) which do not require that purchase be made prior to final payment. Unlike most hotel guests - who do not pay until after their stay, many Forum readers have to pre-pay all lodging costs 30 to 60 days in advance. The plans we offer through CSA accommodate that fact and let you purchase the insurance after the villa has been paid.
