I'm having the same problem Xislandgirl! I have been planning this trip since last summer, and I haven't packed the first thing yet.
Today was the last day of school here, so maybe now I'll have more time to get to it. :D
Good luck to you and I hope I will see you on island!!

I just got back last Sunday from STJ. I took a small notepad with telephone numbers for the airlines, Rachel the taxi lady, the villa mgmt, the rental agency, the dive shop, emergency contacts, the vet that takes care of our animals, friends who receive a the traditional drunk call from the islands...and it came in handy to jot stuff down so I wouldn't forget while I was there. Also, can/bottle coozies, fast food condiments, tweezers, nail file, small scissors, bandaids, and aloe vera gel for sunburn. We call it "the blue stuff".

I can tell you the things I forgot to pack this past trip:

I remembered John's razor, but forgot his razor blades

I forgot to bring a purse to use to go out to dinner

I forgot to bring any extra shoes, so I only had the merril hiking sandals I wore on the plane.

I work from a list, but obviously I had trouble following it this time.

And, something I forgot that you probably won't...when I got back the person who watered my plants for me told me that they found a vacuum sealed chicken breast lying in the middle of my kitchen floor! I packed the cooler really fast and it must have slipped out of my hands. It had been there for eight days when they found it...

Have a wonderful trip!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
