Holy Cow!

Post by Xislandgirl »

I leave a week from tomorrow and I have done nothing except send a few boxes ahead. This is not like me at all and I am freaking out a bit.

Please post one thing that you always forgot to help me make sure that I don't!
Thanks!!!!

Stuff that gets left behind

Post by Bill in Va »

Yo...We do a check of spare batteries and chargers for the camera and cell phone to make sure that one of us packed them instead of "I thought you broght them". We will be on St John for the day on the 14th and plan on hitting the Beach Bar if you guys are still on island....God bless...Bill

Make a list X! I live my life by a list. I would forget my head if it was not attached! My suitcases have been packed since last weekend and I have my trusty list in hand!!! Hope to see on island!

For me I always forget my glasses (I only wear them for 3 minutes a day right before I pass out in bed and long enough in the morning to get from my bed to the sink to put in my contacts).

I also often forget electronics chargers for at least one of the following: cell phone, camera, iphone.

The best Captain Obvious Award winner was when I forgot to pack a bathing suit for my jamaican honeymoon!

Moo!

flip-flop, I thought Grand Lido did not require bathing suits?

The one thing I need to add to my packing list is to turn on the vacation messages on my phones.

Cheers, RickG

That's how I was before my last trip. I'm usually pretty organized but that was not the case in April. There were only 2 things that I should have packed more of and that was shampoo and body lotion (I'm a lotion-aholic. I had to buy more of both while I was there. I always forget how many times I shower amd wash my hair when I'm in the islands and after every shower if course copious amounts of lotion are required.

In 2004, I somehow forgot to put an 8lb pork tenderloin in my cooler. That left us a few meals short...forcing the "discovery" of JJ's by our cadre of woozy adventurers

I don't think I forgot anything in 2006. I won't do well this year, I can tell. Hell, I forgot to bring hotdog buns to a tailgate the other night.
