Awesome report! I read every bit of it, although I started it last night and finished it this morning. I like your speed ... up early, fit a lot into the day, plenty of cocktails, early to bed, wake up and do it all again. That's my style too!
I like the hat that Tam finally found at Skinny's. Very cute!

Thank you for your wonderful report! I had so much fun reading it. Your beach pictures are beautiful!

I laughed when I read you got a visit from the Witnesses. We got a stealth "visit" too--at one of the houses we stayed at, someone had tucked their newsletters all around the house--they were hidden behind pictures and stuff like that. It cracked us up.

Alessandra looks amazing. I am going to have to add it to the "someday" list.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Thanks for a great start to the weekend. It was the perfect way for me to delay my real work this morning.

I think the surprise trip was a wonderful idea although I never could have controlled myself if Hubs had planned it!

You should print this out and save it as a keepsake :)

You've piqued my interest about going to the Baths. A few years ago we had reservations made and everything, but then the night before the trip my husband got food poisoning and we ended up not going. We always intend to make a trip to the BVI, but doing so unfortunately requires leaving STJ and we just never get around to it!

Thanks for the report. Some great photos. Sounds like a good time.

Indeed, Virgin Gorda is not for everybody. I could envision plenty of STJ vets not caring too much for it.

Thank you so much for posting your unabridged version, I read every word! (even if I had to do it in a couple of installments :) ) Your pictures are great too! The one of you at Quiet Mon with your Carib, the sign, and the guy in the Jimmy Buffett shirt in the background...classic! And cute one of you "picking coconuts". Allesandra has always gotten my attention and I really liked seeing your pictures and hearing your comments about it. I'm glad to hear you had such a great, relaxing time!

I read every word in one sitting. Then I went back and looked at the pictures for a second time. Great report and the pictures were outstanding. Thanks so much for sharing your surprise with us. Can't wait to go back.

Great trip report and pictures. Looks like you guys had a great time. Now I have to go back and fix all my past trip reports after reading yours. I always try but never seem to take note as the trip unfolds so I can remember everything when I get home 8)
Thanks Again, I needed that.

WOW!

Probably the best (and there are a ton of great ones on here) trip report I've read. Great great job! You brought the island alive!

Loved your report and pictures! Thanks! It looks like you had a wonderful trip. Loved the picture of you picking a coconut from the palm tree. (Actually they were all great.)

Thanks so much for your report, loved it! I always especially like hearing about people's day sails. My husband is the most motion sick person ever, so we don't get to do the boat thing (thus, we choose to vacation on an island where you can snorkle off the beach). He gets motion sick riding the subway, surfing and even swinging on a swingset! So thanks for letting me live vicariously...

Great report. The shots of Allesandra are great. I am so pining for our trip. It will be our third time back to that villa in November. Just love to sit on the deck and take in the view in the morning, in the afternoon, at night, at 3am :D

After 10 years you an your wife still look very much in love.
When will I see St John again?

Very nicely done! It was like reading a great book. I was pi$$ed when I had to stop to fold a load of laundry!

Ahh, beautiful, beautiful Hawksnest. I will see you soon. We are 8 days out and I am off to do a spot of shopping for the trip. Thanks for sharing your trip with us and taking the time to do such a detailed report!

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to read. I'm glad you enjoyed reading it as much as I had living it! For those of you leaving for the island in the near future, I look forward to reading your trip reports soon!
