Daily supply of iron
Daily supply of iron
I hesitate to ask this for fear of unpolitcally correct comments regarding my mental state or obsessive compulsive behavior. . .but. . .how common is a steam iron amongst the amenities in most villas?
Yes, I iron. . .daily. Yes, the t-shirt that I'll be wearing over my swimsuit to the beach. I know it's a casual island, but freshly pressed clothes make me happy, so don't judge me!!
We're staying at Miles Away, so I could contact Destination St John and ask them, but I'd rather be ridiculed on-line!

There must be others like you, because I often see "iron and ironing board" listed as amenities on villa websites. (I laugh because for me, that's more like a punishment than an amenity, but I applaud your discipline!)
3 times my mom has given me an ironing board as a "gift", and 3 times I've "accidentally" left it behind when I move. Maybe it's time to act like a grownup and get myself one...

Funny story, thought about you when I read it. I hardly touch an iron, I use the wrinkle release in a spray bottle.

greyhoundmom shame, shame on you
Hanging a t-shirt in the shower with the water running for 3 mins would waste soooo much water - cisterns would be empty in no time and depending on the time of year and how busy the delivery trucks get, you can wait 2-3 days for a delivery - not good for the next guests that run out as well as the - $$$$$ it costs
Remember everyone please try to conserve when on island (said in the nicest way possible
)
