Jost ferry

Post by nancyr84 »

We have a trip planned for next May. 7 nights on St John and 3 nights at Guavaberry on Virgin Gorda. My husband really liked Jost when we were there on a day trip several years ago. It seems to be it would make more sense to take the Friday Ferry from St John over than to spend one of our 3 days On VG taking the ferry to Tortola then to Jost. By the maps it seems closer to St John. My question, how long does customs take and would we have enough time on Jost to make it worthwhile. Ferry leaves at 8:30 and comes back at 3.

We have done this several times and you will have plenty of time on Jost. Usually about 5 hours. Customs takes a few minutes on Jost. Add a few more if you have to clear on West End Tortola which we have had to do a couple of times. Jost will be much easier to get to from STJ.
Going "home" again October 26th!
