Turtle in a swimming pool???

Has anyone heard about the 200 lb. turtle in a saltwater pool at Peter Bay?I read the story yesterday on stjohn-on-line.com.They posted pics too!Parafins :D

I saw that on OSJ, too. It's so cool the way she/he was returned to the ocean. Now my only question is: Why would anyone have a salt water pool just steps from the beach???? :?

They aren't ture salt water pools the salt is use to create the disafectant not nearly as salty as the ocean.

parafins, thanks for the heads-up! What a fun and fabulous story and great pics.!! As u can probably tell by name, I am a huge fan of turtles..This story made my day! :D

Ah,so Turtlegirl you are a turtle love too!I live with one in my house! No it's not mine,it's my wifes!It's a Desert Tortise named Hank.You think she would enjoy all the water turtles that live in our large pond/creek but "NO" we have to have one living with us. :D That's o.k.She has to live with me reliving my past vacations on S.T.J.!Parafins........
