And then there were six.....villas to choose from!!!

Post by jdw »

I need your help!!! I have looked at thousands - okay maybe a hundred - villas and have narrowed our choices down to six. The problem is that the other couple travelling with us has asked me to send THREE villas to choose from - I just can't do it!! I am exhausted from researching villas! Please HELP me!!

A little background: two couples, late 40's, each celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Last year we stayed on Contant Point and want to try a different location. We would like a pool and AC for sure. We will cook a couple of nights and eat out the others. We don't mind driving to the beaches, etc. We will be there in May of next year.

Now, the six I have narrowed it down to are (in no particular order):

Le Virage

South Shore

Waterfall

Sea Stone

Ellison

Reef Madness

What would be your top three choices?

Thanks much.

Check out what I said about Waterfall under the last 10 forum topics. We went up to see Reef Madness two weeks ago. It's a nice property. Fully air-conditioned and the owners (Hi Randy!) have top of the
line everything throughout. I'm partial to the Coral Bay area also.

I like Reef Madness for Coral Bay location and late afternoon sun.

Sea Stone is very nice. Sits up on a cliff with the sounds of the waves below. Plenty of covered areas to sit under. Two identical masters at opposite ends of the house. Nice lap pool.

Complete privacy from the villa on the right side but open to the villa on the left. I believe that villa is privately owned and not rented out and while we could see the owner and her dog they didn't bother us or vice versa.

Sea Stone is also completely air conditioned.

I'd return there in a minute.

They do have a lot of iguanas on the property but they didn't cause a problem, it was fun watching them sun.

Good luck
