Trip report 4/6 to 4/12 Last report

Post by waterguy »

Thursday we took the couple back to the ferry with keys and all. Decided to snorkel Chocolate hole drove to the beach it is the first time I entered from this way all ways walked down from Cygnus when we stayed there. What a great snorkel we saw a spotted eagle ray, porcupine fish, squid that were in formation and all kinds of other sea life this is always the best snorkel I just hope all the live aboards that they forced out of Cruz bay and relocated here doesn't harm it. Head back to clean up tonight's sunset was the best I've seen.

Kathleen and me

Tonight we are headed over to Caneel for my friends birthday supper he pick the Ecuador for tonight I have been looking forward to this meal. Boy was I ever disappointed not only were they out of a few things on the menu our waitress was rude we had to ask another one for drinks and our food came out cold. It was like she just disappeared for about 45 minutes. They did give him a nice birthday dessert.

Friday I did a little work in the morning cut some holes in some big concrete pots for the water hoses to hide in. The girls ran down to Starfish and picked up some sandwiches from Ted. For our beach lunch. Another Honeymoon day I think I started something showing them how to get there from caneel. It was rougher today the snorkeling wasn't as good did see 2 big Queen Angel fishes. Saw Kirk there he was on what he was hoping to be his last day layed off. It was fun talking to him. We had lunch and a couple of beers what a perfect spot.

This night we went to Lime Inn. Richie was great. Food was outstanding 3 of us had the Tuna and the other the whole snapper.
We were up early wanted to do some shopping for my 2 god daughters and buy some booze to take home. Told the taxi dispatcher we need to store our luggage and they took care of it. We got a porter at the airport It is so nice not having to stand in line with your luggage. The flight home I had a lady sitting next to me that would freak out so she kept grabbing my hand I thought that Kathleen was going to say something. But we made it no problem sure was nicer sitting in first class on the way down then in the cattle car section on the way back.

Great Report Tom!

If your friends that own the villa need more friends, Chip is very handy and I can provide them with a resume of his Handy-man accomplishments as well as his culinary talents.

Tom-
Thanks for the trip report, great sunset. I would like to forget my keys someday too but I never have friends staying longer than me to bail me out.

Great reports and sunset pictures!

I will have to remember that trick about leaving the keys too, or leaving something important. :D
